Manual Lathe Machinist

The Manual Lathe Machinist will independently operate manual lathes to produce precision industrial machinery parts and general manufacturing items. Working primarily with medium to large workpieces during the day shift, the machinist will ensure quality standards through expert machining setup and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes for machining medium and large workpieces
• Perform manual turning to meet specifications
• Set up machining processes independently
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure precision and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manual lathe machining
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in manual lathe operation
• Skilled in precision measurement techniques
• Strong attention to detail
