24 hr. Tire road tech / mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dependable tire technician and mechanic to join our team, providing high-quality tire and mechanical services with 24-hour availability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, basic hand tools, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work independently in both shop and roadside environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and replace tires for cars, trucks, agriculture, and commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire balancing, rotation, alignment checks, and patch/plug repairs.
• Conduct basic mechanical repairs (brakes, belts, batteries, electrical/lighting, fluid checks, air bags, wheel seals, PM’s, commercial federal inspections, etc.).
• Respond to emergency roadside service calls promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate service records and customer documentation.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles safely.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and recommendations clearly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a tire technician and/or automotive mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred for heavy-duty service).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Physical ability to lift heavy tires and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Applicants will need to have basic tools to perform repair tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• ASE certification or equivalent training.
• Experience with commercial and passenger tires, repairs, PMs, and roadside assistance.

Work Environment:

• Combination of shop-based and mobile roadside work.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during emergency calls.
