Box Truck Owner Operator

Vehicle Type: Box Truck with operating lift gate

• On Way Transport is looking for a Box Truck owner/operator with an active lift gate to transport critical blood and various other medical equipment.
• Dedicated Weekly Route on Tuesdays at 10 am
• Pick up - Dedham, MA to Kingston, Rhode Island

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Contractor tools: box truck, lift gate, dolly
• Deliver medical supplies and platelet boxes promptly and securely
• Access to a smart mobile device for delivery app to manage assignments and track deliveries
• Perform physical labor including bending, lifting, and carrying packages
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be 21 years or older
• Clean and current MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Valid vehicle registration, insurance, and Med DOT.
• Excellent time management and communication skills

Settlement:

• $1.80 per mile round trip + $50 loading compensation
• Paid every Friday
