• Coordinate daily shipments with carriers, freight companies, and internal departments
• Schedule pickups and deliveries
• Track shipments and update shipment status in company systems
• Verify accuracy of orders, quantities, and shipping information
• Ensure shipments comply with company policies and transportation regulations
• Communicate with warehouse staff, customer service, and vendors regarding shipping issues
• Resolve routine shipping discrepancies, delays, or damaged shipment claims
• Maintain shipping logs, inventory records, and filing systems
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed
• Operate shipping software, ERP systems, or transportation management systems (TMS)
• Support receiving and warehouse operations when required
• Follow safety procedures and workplace standards
