Primavera P6 Scheduler

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support a major engineering and facility expansion project in Weirton, WV. This is a contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule requiring approximately 16 hours onsite each week, with the remaining hours worked remotely.

This role requires strong, hands-on Primavera P6 scheduling experience. We are looking for someone who can independently develop, maintain, analyze, and update project schedules for a complex engineering or construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Track engineering, procurement, construction, and project milestones
• Update schedules based on project progress, scope changes, and field activity
• Identify schedule impacts, delays, critical-path activities, and potential risks
• Work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather schedule updates
• Prepare schedule reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates
• Support forecasting and overall project planning throughout the facility expansion

Qualifications

• Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 is required
• Proven experience managing schedules for complex engineering, construction, industrial, or capital projects
• Ability to develop and maintain detailed schedules with minimal oversight
• Strong understanding of critical path methodology, dependencies, milestones, and schedule analysis
• Experience coordinating scheduling information across multiple project teams and disciplines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Weirton, WV approximately 16 hours per week
