Job Summary
An experienced CT & X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using ionizing radiation while maintaining high standards of image quality, patient safety, and technical accuracy.
The technologist must be registered in CT and qualified to perform both CT and X-Ray examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT and X-Ray examinations according to established protocols.
Produce high-quality radiographs using appropriate technical factors.
Evaluate images for proper exposure, positioning, and diagnostic quality.
Prepare patients and provide instructions regarding examination procedures.
Schedule examinations and ensure appropriate patient preparation.
Set up and organize imaging rooms and equipment.
Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Exercise independent judgment when performing technical procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable safety standards.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff.
Adapt to emergency situations and changing clinical conditions.
Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and movement of imaging equipment.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience – Required
Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program
Active Colorado license/registration – Required
ARRT(R) – Required
ARRT(CT) – Required
BLS/BCLS – Required
Must be registered in CT
Recent experience performing both CT and X-Ray examinations
Strong technical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to emergency situations
Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as required
