Position Overview

- Base Salary: Up to $82,000/year
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you would be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic X-ray examinations using appropriate positioning, techniques, and exposure factors.
- Performing exams on patients across all age groups within the Diagnostic Radiology department.
- Preparing and positioning patients while maintaining their safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Verifying patient identifiers, exam details, and laterality before each procedure.
- Monitoring patients throughout examinations and responding appropriately when assistance is required.
- Accurately documenting examinations in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS.
- Following hospital infection-control, safety, and patient-care protocols.
- Maintaining all required licenses, certifications, CEUs, and annual compliance requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License, or a Temporary Massachusetts Rad Tech License with the ability to obtain permanent licensure within one year.
- ARRT Certification and Registration required, or the ability to pass the national ARRT registry examination within one year if working under a temporary license.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- Completion of a two-year approved Radiologic Technology program.
- 1+ year of Radiologic Technology experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication, patient-care, and teamwork skills.
