Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma acute care facility, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level II trauma facility
- Serves both inpatient and outpatient patients across OR and ER settings
- Uses Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT scanners
- 10-hour day shifts including every Friday-Sunday
- Radiologist in house until 6 PM, then available on-call
- 1-2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided
- Fast-paced environment with reduced staffing resources on night shifts
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience required
- BLS, ARRT, and California state Fluoroscopy certification required
- Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
- Must be a self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced radiology environment
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging procedures across OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Reports to unit manager and team lead
- Teal scrub color required, except in OR where scrubs are provided
- Candidates will be expected to work holidays as needed
- Call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
