Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a vital role in managing the company's financial obligations by processing invoices, reconciling payments, and maintaining accurate records. Working within a small team, this position ensures compliance with financial policies and supports audit processes primarily using QuickBooks software.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve issues
- Manage vendor communications and relationships
- Track expenses and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform data entry with attention to detail
- Support audit activities and compliance monitoring
- Generate reports related to accounts payable activities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in accounts payable
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- Familiarity with accounts payable software, especially QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management and communication abilities
- Problem-solving skills and accuracy in data entry
