Role Overview

We are seeking a GMP Visual Inspector to join our team in Fargo, ND.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform 100% manual visual inspection of filled and sealed drug product vials under controlled lighting and approved inspection conditions.
  • Consistently follow approved inspection techniques, procedures, timing, and quality standards.
  • Identify and segregate rejected or potentially nonconforming units.
  • Escalate uncertain conditions for further evaluation rather than making assumptions or guessing.
  • Accurately document inspection results in accordance with GMP/GDP requirements.
  • Maintain accurate reconciliation of inspected, accepted, rejected, and further-evaluation units.
  • Complete required GMP, GDP, safety, inspection-technique, and defect-recognition training.
  • Successfully complete initial inspection qualification and maintain qualification status.
  • Follow all required gowning, hygiene, eye-break, area-control, and product-handling requirements.
  • Participate in refresher training, requalification, defect-kit activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • When inspection demand is lower, support other authorized drug-product activities such as documentation, inventory, training, area readiness, and defect-kit preparation.9

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify small visual defects.
  • Ability to maintain sustained concentration during repetitive, precision-oriented work.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness and ability to work either 1st or 2nd shift, depending on production needs.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and step-by-step instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills sufficient for counting, reconciliation, and simple calculations.
  • Ability to safely handle small glass vials and perform fine visual/manual work.
  • Good personal hygiene is essential for this GMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong commitment to following established procedures and quality requirements.

Preferred Background
