Job Overview

Entry-level Packaging Assembler I position supporting medical device manufacturing and packaging operations. The role involves operating packaging equipment, completing production documentation, following established procedures, and maintaining quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust packaging processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Operate equipment used to package materials and products.
  • Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.
  • Work in a computerized manufacturing environment.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery.
  • Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or abnormalities.
  • Support manufacturing activities including: Assembly, Processing, Packaging, Distribution, Inventory control, Shipping/receiving, as needed
  • Participate in process improvement projects when required.

Work Environment

  • Follow clearly defined procedures and standard work instructions.
  • Work is closely supervised at this entry level.
  • Learn equipment operation and established manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain required production output and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • No prior experience required – 0 years.
  • Basic knowledge of production systems and procedures is recommended.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to learn and operate manufacturing/packaging equipment.
  • Ability to accurately record production data.
  • Ability to follow safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to quality and detail.

Ideal Candidate

An entry-level manufacturing candidate who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with machinery, and able to follow standardized procedures in a regulated medical-device manufacturing environment.
