Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Regular Shift: 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
Training: Approximately one month on 1st Shift, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

We're seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and facility upkeep in an active industrial environment.

What You'll Do:

• Complete basic plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment
• Maintain shop floors, restrooms, break areas, offices, and outdoor areas
• Safely handle industrial waste, cleaning chemicals, hand tools, and power tools
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

What We're Looking For:

• General handyman and facility maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and light electrical repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot routine facility issues independently
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use ladders
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment, noise, dust, oils, and grease
