Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Urgent Care

A growing urgent care clinic in Great Bend, KS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its full-time team.

The RN/LPN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment, supporting providers and ensuring patients receive timely and efficient care.

Schedule

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Work approximately 3 weekdays plus 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage.
• Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting.
• Administer medications safely.
• Assist providers with minor procedures.
• Perform wound care and other clinical treatments.
• Start IVs when permitted by licensure.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Support providers and the clinical team in delivering efficient patient care.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a variety of patient needs.

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN or LPN license or valid compact/multistate license.
• Minimum 1 year of RN or LPN experience.
• Urgent care, outpatient/ambulatory, or Medical-Surgical experience highly preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required upon hire.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
