Maintenance Technician/Safety Coordinator

Repairs, adjusts, trouble shoots, and performs preventative maintenance on injection and blow molding machines.

Oversees the health, safety, and environmental programs (OSFA & EPA compliance, state and local environmental regulatory compliance, corporate programs, and other applicable regulatory requirements) for all employees of the manufacturing facility.  

Requires an understanding of environmental ergonomics, environmental and safety audits, employee training and environmental, safety and health improvements.  

Responsible for developing and implementing effective safety programs, tracking loss performance and will work closely with the facility management to ensure that all programs and safety goals are implemented and achieved.  Also responsible for overseeing environmental programs and ensuring compliance in various governmental regulations.  Will ensure that appropriate regulatory reports are submitted timely and permits/plans ae maintained and up to date.
