Oxford Solutions is working with a pharmacy services client in Pittsburgh, PA seeking a Pharmacy Quality Improvement Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This onsite role focuses on pharmacy quality operations with a strong emphasis on Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary: 54K
Must be flexible to working a schedule that may alternate every other week between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM with rotating Saturday from 9am-5pm every 5-6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions
- Review patient and provider communications to identify potential ADEs
- Maintain complete internal ADE documentation aligned with client requirements
- Prepare and submit ADE reports and required follow-up documentation, including FDA submissions when necessary
- Analyze patient surveys and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement
- Develop and implement action plans to address recurring quality issues
- Review daily quality reports to ensure accuracy of patient orders and documentation
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams to resolve quality concerns and improve workflows
- Monitor quality metrics and ensure adherence to operational standards and service levels
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies and state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience with a focus on quality review or process improvement
- Required experience with Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting and submissions
- Experience completing regulatory reporting, including FDA submissions when required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
