Senior Associate in Tax, Assurance & Advisory Services

Compensation: $46.00 - $62.00 per hour

A growing CPA and advisory firm is seeking an experienced CPA or CPA candidate to lead its assurance, business accounting, and tax functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys autonomy, variety, client interaction, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing firm.

• Lead and oversee assurance, accounting, and tax engagements.

• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted accounting and business advisor.

• Review financial statements, tax returns, and accounting work for accuracy and compliance.

• Provide accounting, tax, and business advisory guidance to clients.

• Oversee engagement planning, execution, and completion.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and business operations.

• Mentor and support accounting team members.

• Assist with complex accounting, tax, and financial matters.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide responsive, high-quality service.

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm's accounting and advisory practice.

• CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience.

• Strong experience in assurance, accounting, and/or tax.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.

• Ability to work independently while effectively leading and collaborating with a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience managing multiple client engagements and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master's in Taxation (MST).

• Business consulting or advisory experience.

• Experience leading teams or client engagements.

• Interest in progressing into a senior leadership role.
