Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30–15:00) | Call and late days as required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room across service lines including Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma
• Perform and assist with Craniotomy and Burr Hole procedures — experience in these areas is required
• Float to alternate campus locations or acceptable units as operationally needed
• Complete orientation modules during scheduled orientation period
• Maintain accurate and timely patient charting throughout all phases of surgical care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room service line
• Current certification verification required
• Must pass an onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — CBD products should also be avoided prior to arrival
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates are not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Altera charting system preferred but not required
