Required Licenses and Certifications
\n PTA License: An active, unencumbered Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state, or ability to obtain one.
\n Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
\n BLS / CPR: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification, if required by the facility or state.
\n Clinical Experience: Experience providing physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
\n Documentation: Ability to accurately document patient treatment, progress, and response to therapy.
\n Patient Care: Ability to assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and home exercise programs.
