Deli Clerk

Podestos in Stockton, CA is looking for Part-time Deli Clerk to join the team! 2 Paid holidays! Paid Vacation after one year! Sick pay! Opportunity to be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance. 

Pay: 17.50-19.10 per hour  

Deli Clerks are responsible for pleasantly greeting customers at the Service Deli/Bakery counter,

• Taking customer orders for salad, hot case, or baked goods and fulfilling them in a timely manner
• Slicing meat and cheese per order and for stocking the sandwich case
• Taking customer sandwich orders and fulfilling the orders properly and in a timely manner
• Decorating baked goods
• Properly sanitizing all equipment and keeping the department clean
• Prepping salads for salad case
• Filling the hot case with hot food
• Frying chicken
• Putting chicken on the rotisserie
• Prepping other food items and completing a variety of tasks assigned by the department manager
• MUST BE 18 years of age to apply for this position. 
• Training will be provided on site.
