Part Time LPN/RN

Functions

Provides professional nursing care. If an LPN/RN work works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Communicates appropriate status/condition changes to the Medicaid Manager per agency guidelines.

Manages/supervises a team of Home Maker Aides, CNAs, and In-Home Aides to provide effective and quality home care services.

Participates in human resources management to achieve quality service delivery and positive employee relations.

Promotes personal safety and safe environment for client and coworkers.

Performs job duties in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and professional and community standards.

Provides on-calll backup, as needed.

Develops working relationships with other health care professionals in the community and families to identify resources available and to ensure access of information to clients.

Promotes professional safety and safe environment for clients and co-workers.

Demonstrates knowledge of safety/infection control practices by compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Assess safety of environment and takes the initiative to help prevent accidents and promote safety.

Recognizes and responds appropriately to potentially unsafe situations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
