Pediatric Private Duty RN - Day Shifts - Hattiesburg, MS

PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Hattiesburg, MS.

We currently have Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available, with weekday and weekend day shifts. Choose the available shifts that work best with your schedule while providing meaningful, one-on-one pediatric care in the comfort of the patient's home.

POSITION DETAILS

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Monday–Friday:

• 11:30 AM–7:30 PM

Saturday–Sunday:

• 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 1-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.

Clinical needs include:

• Feeding and nutritional support

• Medication administration

• Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and age-appropriate care

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

• Provide feeding support and monitor intake as ordered

• Administer medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

• Assist with age-appropriate activities of daily living and care

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

• Current BLS certification

• Current TB screening within the past 12 months

• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Pediatric, private duty, or infant/toddler nursing experience is a plus
