Key Responsibilities – Back of House Team Member Leader:
- Responsible for all Back of House operational positions during each shift.
- Plans and adjusts Back of House set-ups and communicates staffing needs prior to each shift.
- Opens and/or closes the restaurant according to Chick-fil-A procedures while preparing the next shift for success.
- Ensures breaks are completed in a timely manner without disrupting business operations.
- Completes and follows up on required Food Safety Assessments (FSA), ensuring the kitchen remains SAFE inspection ready.
- Oversees catering production to ensure orders are prepared accurately, on time, and to Chick-fil-A quality standards.
- Identifies operational bottlenecks and adjusts set-ups to maintain speed of service (S.O.S.) goals.
- Ensures all stations remain stocked, clean, organized, and prepared throughout the shift.
- Upholds Chick-fil-A food safety, product quality, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Maintains awareness of product quality, hold times, temperatures, product standards, and proper portioning.
- Takes ownership of assigned leadership responsibilities and ensures they are completed consistently
- Communicates effectively with Front of House and Leadership to support a seamless guest experience.
- Provides real-time coaching, feedback, and recognition to Team Members.
- Develops future leaders by identifying leadership potential, encouraging growth, and investing in the success of others.
- Continuously looks for opportunities to improve operations and develop themselves and others.
- Monitors systems and processes throughout the shift and helps ensure they are being followed correctly and consistently
- Ensures the Back of House is prepared for every shift through proper setup, organization, and communication.
- Participates in required leadership meetings and communicates important updates to the team.
- Supports restaurant goals through strong execution, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrates ownership by taking initiative, solving problems, and making sound operational decisions.

Qualifications – Back of House Team Member Leader:
- Previous leadership experience in food service or retail preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example and inspire others
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellence
- Ability to work in a fastâ€'paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends
