Assembly/Teardown

Penmac Staffing is hiring for a full-time Assembly / Teardown Technician position with a manufacturing client in the Springfield area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, using tools, and working in a production environment. • Be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Have strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct imperfections
• Demonstrate continued knowledge of Hazard Communication (Haz/Com) regulations and requirements
• Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

ResponsibilitiesAs an Assembly / Teardown Technician, your daily duties may include:

• Selecting and using the proper hand tools and equipment for each task
• Setting up and operating specialized equipment, including manual and automated torque tools
• Assembling and disassembling products according to specifications
• Reporting defective materials, equipment issues, or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor
• Assisting with identifying and correcting root causes of production issues
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Following all quality, safety, and production procedures

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Thursday: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Mandatory overtime on Fridays, typically 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Pay: $19.00 per hour
