Fiber Transport Company, Inc. is hiring CDL A Local Wood Chip Drivers in Ackerman, MS for day & night shift. Fiber Transport is a privately owned transportation company with offices located in Mobile, AL and Shubuta, MS. We primarily specialize in the transportation of forest/wood products. Compensation

• Weekly gross pay range: $1,100 to $1,300 
  • Paid per load, varies by customer
  • 10-15 loads per week
• Additional pay: Detention pay
• Bonuses:
  • Referral bonus: $250
  • Clean DOT inspection: $50
  • Safe driving bonus after 2nd year
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily & home weekends!
• Day shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00am – 3:30pm
• Night shift: Sunday – Thursday, 5:00pm – 3:30am
• Route: Within 200 miles of Ackerman, MS 
  • All loads come out of Ackerman, MS
• Level of Touch: No touch freight
  • Depending on trailer drivers may have to place a tarp over top of the trailer

Equipment

• Truck fleet is less than 5 years old!
• International LT day cab trucks
• Automatic transmission fleet
• Inward & outward facing cameras
• Governed speed: 70mph

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years 
• No more than 1 speeding ticket in the past 3 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 75 miles of Ackerman, MS or be willing to relocate for this position
