Inpatient and Outpatient setting, patients will vary in age from pediatrics to geriatric. Patient population is not very acute - primarily post surgical, ortho Specialty Profile Notes The department really likes new graduates as they are well rounded candidates. Travelers are allowed to attend the monthly in-service meetings conducted for staff members and are also assigned a mentor. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nebraska and BLS issued through American Heart Association are required. Shift: 8 hour shift; 8:00am-5:00pm with one hour lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Will work one weekend day (Sat or Sun) every two months. Orientation: Held every Wednesday, consisting of three days of classroom orientation and one shift with preceptor.
