What will you do? 

A day in the life of a Warehouse Associate at VF looks a little like this. 

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse. Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.  

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. 

·         Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks. 

·         Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries. 

·         Responsible for working independently to reach individual production goals successfully and accurately.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1 year of experience and professional achievements.   

The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 

·                     Basic level of education will be required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy, problem solving, and accountability. 

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred. 

·         Prior warehouse experience
