Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a hotel and resort location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to guest and visitor needs, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of hotel and resort grounds, guest areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and provide courteous directions and assistance.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
