TITLE: Work Program/Student

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To gain exposure to US manufacturing processes as an Assistant Electrical Engineer through a one-year internship program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current college student enrolled in the Electrical Engineering field
  • Fluent in English communication required
  • Basic AutoCAD drawing skills required
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office required
  • Basic skills to read electrical schematics required
  • Understanding of industrial electrical control circuits preferred
  • Understanding PC hardware and network system preferred
  • Basic understanding of PLC preferred
  • Understanding of AC & DC motor application preferred
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support BOPP electrical maintenance with documentation of electrical control modifications
  • Install application software and back up programs for extrusion lines
  • Maintain network communication of electrical department
  • Make AutoCAD drawing, PC repairs, and file all the documents to the server

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

  • Manufacturing environment

  • Goals for each quarter:
    • Build basic professional knowledge and skill during the internship
    • Develop principle and application of PLC equipment
    • Develop principle and testing of DC motors and drives
    • Develop principle and testing of AC motors and drives
