Position: Glazier / Utility Crew (Dual Assignment)
Rate:
Hours: 8 hours per day (Includes 30 minute unpaid break)
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:30AM to 4:00PM
Calendar: 260-Day
Notes: Puyallup School District is seeking a skilled trades professional to perform Glazier duties as the primary assignment while also supporting Utility Crew functions as needed. This position is responsible for maintaining District facilities through glass installation and repair, carpentry, remodeling, and general maintenance activities. The position of Glazier is done for the purpose of installation of all types of glass including insulated repairs and installation.

Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational /trade school coursework is desirable beyond high school graduation.
Experience Requirements
Five years recent, successful, working experience in private enterprise or government agencies as a Journeyman glazier or successful completion of two years of trade school and three years recent working experience as a journeyman in related job functions, or successful completion of an apprenticeship program. Candidate must attain a combined minimum of 70% on the scored interview questions, practical essay and resume review to be deemed to have met the minimum qualifications for the position.
Valid Washington State driver's license and evidence of insurability.
Ability to perform heavy physical work and safely operate tools and equipment.
Note: This position is primarily assigned to Glazier responsibilities and will also perform Utility Crew duties to support District maintenance and operational needs.
