Job Description
Our property is seeking a night auditor to join our growing group of hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to financial details, a genuine love of interacting with people, and a superior commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous hotel experience is not required but guest service experience is highly preferred. $13 - $15 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest complaints, process reservations and check-ins, and other front desk agent duties as required
  • Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests during their stay
  • Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
  • Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
  • Audit and reconcile all financial records such as cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, room charges, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages
  • Work closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up to date and coordinating requests for maintenance and repair work

  • Accommodate special requests of guests whenever possible

  • Assist in preregistration, blocking of rooms for reservations, thoroughly understanding and adhering to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures

  • Perform financial-related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising payouts, currency exchange, and using suggestive selling techniques to offer guests assistance in making superior choices

  • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift of 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment


Qualifications:
  • Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
  • Flexible overnight hours are required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel front desk, hospitality, administrative, or night audit experience is preferred but not required

  • PEP system knowledge is a plus, but not required

  • Flexible schedule

  • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift
