Job Title: Temporary Registered Nurse — Job Corps (Minot, ND)

Location: Minot, ND (Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center)
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract
Schedule: Up to 40 hours/week
Contract Dates: October 1, 2026 – November 30, 2026
Pay: Weekly package $2,500 (hourly wage + housing stipend + meals & incidentals stipend for qualifying candidates)

About the Role
Asa Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse to support the Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center, a U.S. Department of Labor-funded residential job training center serving youth ages 16–24. This is a short-term assignment supporting the center's Health and Wellness team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Health and Wellness Manager with medication management, including monthly inventory, ordering of stock medication/vaccines, daily controlled substance counts, and monitoring of trainee prescriptions
• Maintain accurate records for ordering, storage, administration, and disposal of medication/vaccines
• Ensure medical records are maintained in compliance with DOL, corporate, and center requirements and the applicable Nurse Practice Act
• Supervise the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act
• Participate in monitoring the center's overall health and wellness program alongside the Wellness Director
• Assist with CIS reporting and maintain confidentiality of trainee information

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license valid in North Dakota (multistate/compact license accepted)
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a licensed independent practitioner providing medical care to adolescents and young adults
• Able to practice independently without supervision
• Willingness and ability to relocate/travel for the 2-month assignment (local candidates also welcome)
• Current resume/CV, certificate of insurance, and W-9 required prior to placement
