Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele

Location: Rochester, NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 3×12 Hours
Time: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $35.50/hr - $38.50/hr

Requirements

• Active NY RN License

• 1+ year Med/Surg Tele experience

• BLS – AHA

• Epic experience required

• Phlebotomy and IV insertion competency required

• First-time travelers welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients.

• Monitor cardiac telemetry, vital signs, and blood glucose.

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.

• Administer oral, IM, and subcutaneous medications.

• Manage Foley catheters, NG tubes, and G-tubes.

• Assess and monitor patients and report changes using SBAR.

• Administer oxygen therapy and maintain isolation precautions.

• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed.
