Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT-CT certification for a 13-week assignment in an adult acute care and Level II trauma setting.

Details

  • Level II Trauma Center supporting adult acute care and adult outpatient populations
  • Daily caseload of approximately 40 patients
  • Top procedures include general CT, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and vascular studies
  • Uses GE CT equipment and PACS imaging systems
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Choice of 4x10 hour day shifts (Mon-Thu) or 3x12 hour shifts (Fri-Sun), 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
  • No on-call requirements
  • Potential but unlikely floating within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
  • ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Oregon state license required if applicable
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
  • Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
  • Proficiency in vascular CTA and contrast media preparation/administration
  • Skilled in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety
  • Ability to work independently

Additional Information

  • Perform a wide range of CT procedures including trauma, oncology, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted; proof of address required for consideration
  • Pending state license accepted
  • RTO limited to 7 total days within the 13-week assignment
  • Orientation includes annual specialty-specific modules
