Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week acute care assignment with BLS certification and 1+ year of experience preferred.
Details
- Acute care setting covering outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled patients
- Average of 8 patients treated per day
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7am-5pm, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Uses MatrixCare/Matrix EMR
Requirements
- Physical therapy degree required
- BLS certification required
- 1+ year of experience preferred, but training provided
- License required if applicable
- Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled settings
- Department-specific orientation provided (12 hours)
- Casual professional dress code
- Works under the direction of the PT Manager/Supervisor
- No PTAs supported in this role
