Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT/XR Technologist with ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification for a diagnostic imaging role requiring at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and radiography (XR) exams
- M-F schedule, 7:30am-4pm
- 13-week assignment
- May be required to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
- Rotating shifts as required
Requirements
- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a CT/XR training program required
- Flu vaccine required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
- Apply radiation protection principles during procedures
- Maintain patient records and files
- Participate in departmental quality assurance program
- Transport patients to and from radiology
- Work with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Pursue continuing education as required
- First-time travelers may be considered
