Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography (CT) at a healthcare facility. Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program; CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry date or date of hire if already obtained; 2 years of experience; Licenses and Certifications including ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and utilization of complex imaging equipment. Administers contrast media as ordered, reviews patient history, documents properly, and ensures exams are accurately coded and archived. Demonstrates patient-centered care and effective communication throughout procedures.
