Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with previous IR/Cath Lab and neurointerventional radiology experience for a busy Interventional Radiology department.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit with 2 single plane (GE) rooms and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms plus one Invasive CT scanner
- Day shift staffing includes 2 techs and 1 nurse per room; night shift staffed with 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Uses Cerner (Radnet) EMR
- Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Floats to VOR area as needed
- Every 7th weekend rotation required
- One night secondary call per week required
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience required
- Previous Interventional Radiology experience required, including scrub and circulate duties
- Previous neurointerventional radiology experience required, including scrub and circulate duties
- Vascular OR experience preferred
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- VI Registered credential preferred
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform procedures including dialysis access work (permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tube placements, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G-tubes, TIPS, and Inari cases
- Perform cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipeline procedures, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
- Team includes 15 techs, a manager, and a Data/Quality Analyst, with nursing support in each room
- Best fit is a flexible, strong team player
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Located within a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III NICU health system
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates not considered
