Job Description:

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers

Average $67600 annually plus quarterly safety bonus
Home daily with a dedicated route and consistent schedule
High-mileage route
Touch freight delivering auto parts to retail stores
Hazmat endorsement required (90 days upon hire to obtain)

You will drive:
Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
Automatic straight truck equipment
Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:
Deliver auto parts to retail stores on a dedicated route
Complete approximately 45 stops per week using a pallet jack and hand truck
Perform touch freight deliveries with consistent routes and customers
Complete approximately 5 transfers per week across assigned routes

Schedule:
Monday-Friday schedule
Dispatch at 1:00 AM until completion
Home daily with no layovers
Approximately 60 hours per week

Qualifications:

Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
