Purchasing Agent - Direct Hire in Kulpsville, PA
Salary: $70,000
Manpower is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Kulpsville, PA area to identify a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys supplier management, cost negotiations, inventory control, and collaborating across multiple departments to support operational success. Must bring pervious experience in industrial manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement process from sourcing through purchase order execution.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and establish favorable supplier agreements.
• Partner with production planning, engineering, quality, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory management initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure dependable delivery and quality performance.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support strategic purchasing initiatives that align with company goals and operational requirements.

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
