Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and quality assurance industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $19.00
Shift: Salt Lake City, UT | A1 (12 hr) rotating shift | 6:30AM-6:30PM
What's the Job?
- Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications.
- Utilize microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to conduct detailed inspections and evaluations.
- Complete 10-15 different inspection tasks to ensure product compliance with internal and external standards.
- Support the documentation process, including preparing pallets for shipment and scanning documents for electronic archival in Agile.
- Initiate Non-Conformance reports and support CAPA activities to maintain quality standards.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA or Technical Degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills to access and document information accurately.
- Good written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and understand instructions.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is a plus.
- Ability to perform inspection tasks using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
