Position Summary:
The Painter Apprentice is an entry-level position designed for individuals who want to start a career in the painting trade. No painting experience is necessary—we’ll provide the training. What we’re looking for is someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn. If you show up on time, work hard, and align with our core values, there’s no limit to how far you can go here.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Support
- Assist experienced painters with surface prep, masking, caulking, sanding, and cleanup
- Follow instructions and ask questions when unsure—this is a learning position
- Learn proper use of brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools of the trade
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
Teamwork & Attitude
- Be coachable and open to feedback from crew leads and supervisors
- Show up on time, ready to work every day
- Support your team and take pride in even the smallest tasks
- Maintain a positive, respectful attitude on every jobsite
Safety & Responsibility
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
- Use ladders, equipment, and tools safely and responsibly
- Take ownership of your work and keep learning to improve
Qualifications:
- No prior painting experience required—just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time to job sites
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and climb ladders throughout the workday
- Positive attitude and a genuine interest in building a career in the trades
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
