Position Overview

Neto Capital is a business financing company in Sunny Isles Beach. We're looking for a Junior Underwriter to review incoming financing applications: analyzing bank statements and cash flow, spotting risks and irregularities, and preparing clear underwriting summaries and recommendations. You'll use the company's in-house AI/ML underwriting tools daily and work closely with Risk, Sales, and Operations. This is a strong entry point for someone who wants to build a career in underwriting and risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business bank statements, cash flow, revenue, liabilities, and payment patterns on new financing applications.
• Review supporting documents and credit data; flag red flags, irregularities, and risk.
• Prepare underwriting summaries and recommendations on approvals, declines, terms, pricing, and exposure.
• Use and give feedback on the company's AI/ML underwriting tools, and help improve underwriting workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field a plus).
• 1+ year in an analytical, financial, credit, underwriting, banking, or lending role.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and a solid understanding of bank statements, cash flow, and financial risk.
• Detail-oriented, fast learner, and able to communicate conclusions clearly while handling sensitive financial information with discretion.

Nice to Have

• Experience in business financing, MCA, lending, credit underwriting, or risk analysis.
• Hands-on experience analyzing business bank statements or working with credit decisioning tools.
• Familiarity with Plaid, DecisionLogic, Ocrolus, DataMerch, TLOxp, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
• Experience building models, dashboards, or reports in Excel / Google Sheets; additional languages a plus.
