Route Delivery Driver
FEAST Food Pantry is seeking a dependable, hardworking Route Delivery Driver to join our team and help us serve families throughout our community. This is a physically demanding, active position that requires repetitive lifting of 50+ lbs., loading and unloading food, and sustained physical activity throughout the workday.
The Route Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating the FEAST 16-foot box truck, picking up donated food from local grocery stores and community partners, and returning donations to FEAST safely and efficiently. The driver will also assist with unloading, weighing, processing, and recording incoming food donations.
Schedule & Position Requirements
- Monday through Friday, beginning at 6:00 a.m.
- Typically 5–7 hours per day, depending on donation volume and operational needs
- Occasional weekend hours may be required, particularly during the holiday season
- Ability to manage assigned routes and priorities independently and efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities accurately and on time
- Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate promptly regarding delays, changes, or problems
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience
- Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check
