JOB SUMMARY

To travel to various chain and independent retail customer locations to deliver and install POS, build displays and place advertising material as needed.  The purpose of this position is to help and enhance Georgia Crown’s presence in retail outlets, in regards to customer service (i.e. building displays, installing POS, communicating with management, and ensuring optimum product location).  Position will also deliver, assemble and install various sizes and types of POS materials. Role will include learning our sales software system for the downloading of orders as well as being trained on the basics of running a sales territory. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs occasionally/frequently to build displays and install POS materials.
• Knowledge of similar industries is preferred.
• College Degree preferred
• Basic Computer skills
• Must have good people/communication skills and willingness to work with store owners, managers and sales reps
• Must be able to push, pull and carry cases of product (i.e. building displays and stocking shelves with specialty products)
• Must be able to work long & flexible hours
• Must be able to read, write and preform basic math calculations.
• Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license

• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:

  1. Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
  2. Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
  3. Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years

• Must be able to keep 100/300/100 liability amounts on car insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Background checks will be conducted (i.e. Police background, reference checks)

Georgia Crown Distributing Co. is a family owned business, founded by the late Fate D. Leebern in August 1938. The business was named Columbus Wine Company Distributors. It was Columbus Wine Company that unloaded the first rail carload of legal liquor in Columbus, Georgia following the end of Prohibition.

The first generation ended with the death of Fate Leebern in 1946 and the second began under the direction of his son, Donald Leebern, Sr. Following his death in 1957, the third generation began under the direction of his son, Donald M.
