Industrial Painter

Industrial painter needed in Lewisville, TX!

Shift 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, $18/hr.

• Following safety regulations: Conforming to all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE
• Working in a team environment: Being willing to work with others to reach a common goal
• reparing surfaces: Cleaning, washing, stripping, and sanding surfaces to prepare them for painting
• Applying paint: Using brushes, spray equipment, or other tools to apply paint, enamel, lacquer, or other coatings
• Ensuring quality: Ensuring the paint job meets company standards and extends the life of the structure
• Maintaining equipment: Cleaning and maintaining painting and coating equipment, ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Industrial painters should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Painting techniques: Be proficient with a variety of painting techniques and tools
• Adaptability: Be able to adjust quickly to changes in schedules, environment, or task requirements
• Chemical knowledge: Be familiar with different types of paint and understand their chemical properties
• Safety awareness: Be able to follow safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment
• Communication skills: Be able to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information to others
