Payroll Manager- Cost and Labor Analysis

The Payroll Manager - Cost and Labor Analysis is responsible for overseeing cost and risk estimating, analysis, and control activities related to payroll. This role ensures the timely preparation and accurate distribution of company salaries, overhead, and benefits in compliance with federal and state regulations. The manager also leads cost accounting initiatives, supports decision-making through meaningful cost data, and manages the payroll department's staffing and performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports and audits related to payroll and labor costs
• Analyze labor costs in relation to revenue
• Lead the implementation of standard inventory valuation systems and cost accounting aspects within SAP
• Ensure payroll data supports effective decision-making and performance measurement
• Manage payroll department staffing, supervision, training, and performance targets
• Stay current with tax regulations and advise management on compliance implications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in payroll management
