Medical Scheduler

Foot & Ankle Specialists of Orlando is seeking a reliable, detail‐oriented Phone Scheduler with a warm, empathetic, and naturally friendly and enthusiastic attitude to join our busy medical practice. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate scheduling, and exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

• Answer high‐volume incoming calls with professionalism, empathy, and a friendly tone
• Schedule patient appointments and follow‐ups accurately
• Verify insurance and collect necessary patient information
• Document all patient interactions in the EMR
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient workflow

Requirements

• Prior medical office or scheduling experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer‐service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment
• Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance basics
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Naturally upbeat, patient‐focused, and compassionate
