Dental Front Office Assistant

Position Summary

As our Front Office Assistant, you are the face of First Flight Pediatric Dentistry and the first smile our families see. The ideal candidate brings high energy, patience, and warmth to every interaction while staying detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Experience: Welcome families, manage check-in/check-out processes, and foster a fun, anxiety-free environment for kids.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patient families via phone, email, and in-person; deliver clear, supportive information regarding appointments and practice policies.
• Scheduling & Administrative Support: Manage daily schedule optimization, handle patient intake forms, update electronic health records, and confirm upcoming visits.
• Financial & Insurance Operations: Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, present treatment plans/estimates clearly to parents, and process daily payments.
• Team Collaboration & Growth: Maintain a professional workspace, assist with onboarding future team members, and actively identify ways to improve operational efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with both adults and children.
• Strong organizational habits and comfort multitasking in a pediatric environment.
• Prior experience in dental administrative roles (pediatric experience or dental software knowledge, such as Dentrix or Open Dental, is a plus).
