CarVix is coming to Tampa, FL, and we're looking for a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician to help lead our new operation!
This is not just another technician position. You have the opportunity to be one of the key technicians helping build our Tampa location from the ground up.
If you're an experienced master technician who takes pride in your diagnostic ability, technical knowledge, productivity, and quality of work — we want you on our opening team!
TOP-TIER FLAT-RATE PAY
$45–$60 FLAT RATE PER FLAGGED HOUR
Your pay will be based on your experience, certifications, technical skills, diagnostic ability, and qualifications.
CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE MATTER
We are looking for a true Master-Level Technician with the skills and experience to handle complex repairs and diagnostics.
Required qualifications:
• ASE Master Technician certification
• Advanced diagnostic experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Experience with multiple makes and models
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues
• Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems
• Dealership or high-volume automotive experience
• Valid driver's license
• Over 5 years of experience
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems
• Perform advanced repairs and diagnostics
• Complete quality repairs efficiently and accurately
• Identify difficult-to-diagnose vehicle issues
• Assist with technical troubleshooting
• Inspect vehicles and determine required repairs
• Work closely with management and the inspection team
• Help maintain high technical and quality standards
• Support the development of our Tampa service and reconditioning operation
• Help mentor and support other technicians when needed
