Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position in a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves performing a wide range of routine and advanced imaging procedures, supporting other imaging professionals, and ensuring smooth patient throughput. The technologist must demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts and/or at different campuses as needed, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and technical competency.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment starts on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 01/02/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted equivalent; 1 year of hospital experience preferred; basic computer experience required; radiography certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); state licensure required; BLS certification (AHA).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital setting.
- Additional Information: The technologist will perform examinations and procedures necessary to assist in patient care and imaging. They will troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions, ensure proper storage of completed exams in Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and adapt methods to meet patient needs while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and standards.
